Australian Embassador Meets With HE Koeut Rith, Minister Of Justice

PHNOM PENH: Friday 22nd April, Ambassador Kang met with HE Koeut Rith, Minister of Justice. In a wide-ranging conversation, Minister Rith and Ambassador Kang discussed Australia’s long history of cooperation on law enforcement and justice issues, including border security, as well as the upcoming commune elections and various draft laws.

We encourage Cambodian authorities to ensure opposition parties and civil society groups are able to engage with the elections freely in order to ensure genuinely representative outcomes.
